Survivors include his wife, Julia K.; a son, Richard H. of Iowa City; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Halferty of Winfield and Mary T. Colgan of Des Moines; seven sisters, Mrs. Edward Metz, Veronica Colgan and Mary Colgan, all of Creston, Mrs. Genevieve Ruel of Spring Valley, Calif., Mrs. Lice Hall of Beverly, Ohio, Mrs. Elizabeth Mulcahy of Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Esther Hogan of Stamford, Conn., and a grandson.
