The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": Great Falls Tribune (MT), 21 March 1931 Eastern Man Dies at Local Hospital Joseph Gibson, 50, died at a Great Falls hospital Friday morning, after a short illness. He was on his way to visit with a sister, Mrs. Mary Brewer of Eagle Butte, when he became ill on the train. He was a member of the Moose lodge of New Martinsville, W. Va., and of the Woodmen of the World there. There are two other sisters, Mrs. Lilla Patterson of Barberton, Ohio, and Mrs. Nettie Waltenbaugh of Cleveland, Ohio, and one brother, Will Gibson of Shortsburgh, Pa. The body is at the Merrill mortuary. ---- 26 March 1931 Joseph Gibson's Funeral Postponed Because of Storm Funeral services for Joseph Gibson, originally set for Wednesday, have been postponed. Weather conditions have made it impossible for relatives to come from Eagle Butte. Gibson, who was 50, was on his way from his home in West Virginia to visit his sister, Mrs. Mary Brewer of Eagle Butte, when he became ill and was taken to a Great Falls hospital.
