He was laid to rest by the side of his son and grandson in the Oketo cemetery, He was born near Hamburg, Germany, January 19, 1930, and was 78 years and six months old at the time of his death. He was married twice. He had two sons by his first wife and four children, two sons and two daughters by his second wife. The two youngest sons are dead. He came to America with his parents when he was eight years old. He was a devoted husband and kind father. He leaves a wife, two sons and two daughters to mourn his death.
