Overmohle. 86, of Carroll, died Tuesday evening, April 13, 1993, at the Carroll Health Center Nursing Home in Carroll. Mass of the Christian burial for Mr. Overmohle will be at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be at Holy Angels Cemetery at Roselle, Iowa. Casket bearers will be Doug, Derrick, Daren and Danny Overmohle and Gary and Keith Schwartz. Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Rosaries will be recited at 3 and 8:15 p.m. Thursday, the latter by the Knights of Columbus. There will also be a Christian wake service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday by Holy Spirit Parish at the funeral home. Mr. Overmohle was born March 19, 1907. at Roselle, Iowa, a son of Gerhard and Elizabeth (Starman) Overmohle. He spent most of his lifetime in the Roselle community and attended Holy Angels School. On Feb. 18, 1941, he and Bertilla Hannasch were married at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Carroll by Father Lambert Schenkelberg. Following their marriage, the couple farmed near Halbur and in 1948 moved to their family farm west of Roselle. In 1975, they moved to their home in Carroll. Mr. Overmohle had been a resident of the Carroll Health Center since 1991. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish in Carroll, the Carroll Knights of Columbus and the Kuemper Century Club. Mr. Overmohle is survived by three sons, Robert Overmohle and his wife. Judy, of Carroll; William Overmohle and his wife, Ruth, of Lenexa, Kan.; and Louie Overmohle of Carroll; one daughter, Janice Schwartz and her husband. Rich, of Papillion, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Caroline Regan of Denver, Colo., and Margaret Hannasch and Arlene Hannasch. both of Carroll; and a brother-in-law, Leo Irlbeck, of Templeton. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bertilla, in September 1991; three brothers, Tony, Henry and Ted Overmohle; and six sisters, Mary Overmohle, Kate Tunnik, Wilma Overmohle, Sister Hedwegis F.S.P.A., Anna Fritz, and Helen Hoffman.
