| Description | : | Joseph Paziaud was born Feb. 8, 1876 in Effiat, Puy-De-Dome, France.(Source - Amelia's application for American citizenship) He married Amelia Dumont and had 3 children, Roger, Rene and Denise. The family moved to Frank, Alberta, Canada in Feb. 1908, where the children attended school for 2 years before being sent back to France for 6 more years of school. The children were in Paris during the first world war and returned to Canada in 1918. The family moved to Fernie, BC in 1919. Amelia and Joseph divorced and Joseph supposedly returned to France.
