His five surviving children are: Jacob Stauffer, of San Antonio, Texas; Mrs. Florence Baur of Des Moines; Mrs. Wilma Boyles of Grannis, Ark.; Mrs. Josephine Leech, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Claude Reynolds of Des Moines. The funeral services were held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Methodist church in Patterson conducted by Rev. D. J. Shenton of Winterset. The interment was conducted by the A.F. & A.M. lodge of Winterset. The interment was in the Patterson cemetery (McGinnis).
