Straka, 85, retired Lincoln grocer, were held April 20 at St. Mary's Cathedral, Lincoln.. He died April 17 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital after a short illness. Father John Zastrow officiated at the services. Mr. Straka was born March 19, 1874, in Czechoslovakia. At the age of five he came to this country with his parents and two brothers. They settled in Lincoln where he had lived ever since, except for three years when he made his home in David City. On May 5, 1926, he was married to Margaret Demuth, who preceded him in death in 1946. He is survived by one brother, Bernard of Lincoln.
