Kemper Of Templeton Dies Sunday Funeral Services Will Be Thursday in Sacred Heart Church There Mrs. Anton Kemper, 79, died at her home in Templeton at 2:45 Sunday afternoon after being ill only two weeks. Her death was caused by heart trouble and complication. She passed away well fortified with the last rites of the Catholic Church. The body was taken from the Ohde Funeral Home Sunday night to the family home in Templeton where it will rest until the time of the services. Rites will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at Sacred Heart Church in Templeton with the Rt. Rev. Monsignor F. H. Huesmann reading the requiem high mass. Burial will be in the family lot in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Kemper was born Josephine Dultmeier at Oldenburg, Germany, May 15, 1860. In 1881 she came to the United States with her father, who settled near Templeton, in Carroll county. She was united in marriage to Anton Kemper at Holy Angels Church, Roselle, Feb. 28, 1882. They took up farming in the vicinity of Templeton, continuing their farming operations until 1920, when they retired to make their home in Templeton, where she had lived since that time. Her husband died Sept. 4, 1938. Feb. 28, 1933, Mr. and Mrs. Kemper celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in the presence of all of their children. Mrs. Kemper was the mother of nine children. One daughter died in infancy. The surviving children are: Mrs. Frank Irlmeier (Agnes), Frank Kemper, Elisabeth Kemper, Mrs. John Rohe (Anna), Mrs. Frank Sporrer (Clara), Edward Kemper, Albert Kemper and William Kemper, all living in or near Templeton. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was the last of a family of five children. Preceding her in death were three brothers, Clem, Frank and Henry Dultmeier, and one sister, Mrs. Bernadine Glossen of Chicago. Mrs. Kemper was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Christian Mothers Sodality of Templeton.
