She had been ill several weeks but no alarm was felt until about two weeks ago, when she was taken to the hospital at Lacombe. Born in Fence, Wis., March 20, 1896, she came to Ponoka with her parents nearly eight years ago where, by her sweet helpful disposition, she won many friends. She was married to Raymond Rochon on the 9th of September last, and leaves, besides her husband, her father and mother, three brothers, of Ponoka, and four sisters residing in Wisconsin. The funeral took place from the Catholic church, of which she had always been a very devout member, on Monday, the 12th. The sorrowing relatives will be extended sympathy in their bereavement.
