Description	:	Daughter of Albert Gloetzel and Caroline Bowers Mrs. Charles Heilstedt, who lived southeast of Spencer, passed away very suddenly last Thursday morning, March 1, at 10 o'clock. The Heilstedts were moving that day from their farm in Sioux township to a farm in Riverton township. Mrs. Heilstedt was standing on the porch watching the trucks go away when she complained of a pain in her head. A few minutes later she fell unconscious against her sister, who was standing near her. Read More	Daughter of Albert Gloetzel and Caroline Bowers Mrs. Charles Heilstedt, who lived southeast of Spencer, passed away very suddenly last Thursday morning, March 1, at 10 o'clock. The Heilstedts were moving that day from their farm in Sioux township to a farm in Riverton township. Mrs. Heilstedt was standing on the porch watching the trucks go away when she complained of a pain in her head. A few minutes later she fell unconscious against her sister, who was standing near her. She passed away shortly after this without gaining consciousness. Until this time, Mrs. Heilstedt had been in the best of health and her sudden death was a great shock to the community. At the time of her death she was 47 years, 5 months and 2 days old. Josephine Gloetzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gloetzel, born in Westphalia, Shelby county, Iowa, September,29, 1880. At the age of five years, she moved with her parents to Peru, Illinois, where she grew Into womanhood. In Peru, January 29, 1900, Josephine Gloetzel was united in marriage to Charles Heilstedt. They continued making their home In Peru until March 4, 1911, when they came to Clay county, Iowa, where they have since lived. To this union were born four children, two boys, Carl and Ralph, and two daughters, Helen and Charlotte. Mrs. Heilstedt was a woman who possessed a sweet and lovable disposition whereby she acquired a great many friends. Besides her husband, Mrs. Heilstedt is survived by her children, Carl, Ralph and Miss Charlotte of Spencer and Mrs. Donald McDonald of Hartley; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Carl Heilstedt; son-in-law, Donald McDonald of Hartley; one grandchild, Donaldine McDonald; five brothers, Steve, John, Martin, Joseph and Wendell of Royal; five sisters, Mrs. Frank Hoborer of Hartington, Nebraska; Mrs. Earl Roberts and Mrs. Merill Hickman of Royal and Mrs. W. B. F. Killmar and Mrs. Freeman Coughenour both of Spencer. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from Cobb's Funeral Home. Dr. Herbert Clegg, pastor of the Methodist church of Spencer, officiated. Mrs. Elliot Gould sang, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "No Night There" and was accompanied on the piano by Elliot Gould. Burial was made at Riverside cemetery, Spencer. Those attending the funeral from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Horboer of Hartlngton, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. Carl Buckoly, Mrs. Tillie Buckoly, Mr. Otto Wibrowlski and Mr. Wm.
