Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Yetmar, 67, who died at the home of her sister, Mrs. James Pavelka in Clutier at 6 p.m. Monday, were conducted by the Rev. Father E.S. Flynn from St. Michael's Catholic Church at nine o'clock this Thursday morning. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery in Chelsea. Peffers Funeral home was in charge of the rites and nephews of the deceased were pall bearers. Mrs. Yetmar had been an invalid since suffering a paralytic stroke while on a visit to California a year and a half ago. Shortly after she became ill she was brought back to Belle Plain by her sisters and was cared for here for some time in the home of one of them, Mrs. Mike Marah. She was taken to the Pavelka home at Clutier two months ago. As Josephine Hanousek, a daughter of Frank and Mary Hanousek, she was born in Bohemia October 19, 1873. The family came to America when she was about seven years old, settling in Belle Plain where she grew to womanhood. Following her marriage to Amos Upah, the couple resided in Chelsea. Mr. Upah died in 1895, and she continued to live in Chelsea until she married Frank Yetmar in 1901 and moved to Humboldt. Her second husband died in May 1939 and four months later their adopted son, Joseph Yetmar, was killed in a motorcycle accident. After his death she returned to Belle Plain to live with Mr. and Mrs. Marsh.Surviving is one brother, John Hanousek of Elberon and six sisters; Mrs. Mike Marsh and Mrs. James Adams, Belle Plain; Mrs. James Papesh and Mrs. Kalina, Elberon; Mrs. Bessie Papesh, Belle Plain and Mrs. James Pavelka, Clutier. One sister, Mrs. Mary Husske of Fort Dodge, died fifteen years ago.
