Description	:	OBITUARY Josephine M. Klausing, 85, of 509 W. Pearl Street, Wapakoneta, died at 6:55 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Magdalene) Schmerg. Mrs. Klausing had been in failing health for the past three months. She was born October 29, 1893, in Ottoville, the daughter of Peter and Clara (Brinkman) Etgen. Pearl Street, Wapakoneta, died at 6:55 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Magdalene) Schmerg. Mrs. Klausing had been in failing health for the past three months. She was born October 29, 1893, in Ottoville, the daughter of Peter and Clara (Brinkman) Etgen. On February 10, 1924, she married Clement J. Klausing, who preceded her in death December 5, 1950. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Lawrence (Magdalene) Schmerg, of 512 W. Pearl Street, Wapakoneta; Mrs. James (Mabel) Koening, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. One son, Virgil, died in infancy. Mrs. Klausing was the last survivor of a family of 11 children. Four sisters and six brothers preceded her in death, Clara, Lena, Laura, Frances, Frank, Peter, Ben, Alex, Sylvester, and Lewis. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; a member of the Catholic Ladies of the church; a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council No. 40, of Delphos; and a member of the Wapakoneta Senior Citizens. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Louis J. Barga officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
