(MAGEE) DUNCAN May 26, 1925 ~ July 14, 2011 Josephine was born to Joseph and Blanche Magee in Conrad, Montana and as a small child moved with the family to Colville, Washington where she was a Colville resident through 1952. She worked with the Army Air Corps during WW II in Brownsville, Texas. Jo lived in Clark County for the past 59 years residing in Ridgefield, Washington and Vancouver, Washington. (MAGEE) DUNCAN May 26, 1925 ~ July 14, 2011 Josephine was born to Joseph and Blanche Magee in Conrad, Montana and as a small child moved with the family to Colville, Washington where she was a Colville resident through 1952. She worked with the Army Air Corps during WW II in Brownsville, Texas. Jo lived in Clark County for the past 59 years residing in Ridgefield, Washington and Vancouver, Washington. Jo loved sewing, quilting, knitting, gardening, and camping. She had a special love of children and was a willing volunteer as a grade school reading tutor, Sunday School Teacher, Brownie/Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Den Mother, and 4-H Leader among many volunteer efforts. Although Jo worked many varied jobs throughout her life, her primary passion was as a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother to her family. Jo was a devoted Christian who shared kindness and love with all she met. Jo was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Noel Duncan; and her daughter, Lisa Duncan. Jo is survived by daughters, Paula (Bruce) Claiborne of Bainbridge Island, Washington and Darcie (Don) Wallace of Vancouver, Washington; sons, Sam (Linda) Duncan of Battle Ground, Washington and Kit (Gina) Duncan of Oxnard, California; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at the Ridgefield Community United Methodist Church, 1410 South Hillhurst Road, Ridgefield, WA 98642.
