Fangma, 76, who had been in good health until she suffered a paralytic stroke about two months ago, died at her home here yesterday about 12 o'clock noon. Fangma, 76, who had been in good health until she suffered a paralytic stroke about two months ago, died at her home here yesterday about 12 o'clock noon. Mrs. Fangman was born on Jan. 17, 1858 in Oldenburg, Germany, coming to the United States with her parents and a sister Anna (Mrs. Joe Hoelscher of Carroll) when she was 18 years old. She was married to Mr. Fangman four years later at New Vienna. Ia. and they moved to Arcadia in Carroll county a year later. At the end of another year they moved to a farm about three and one-half miles west of Templeton and in 1890 moved to a farm one and one-half miles west of Templeton. Mr. and Mrs. Fangman retired from the farm in 1913 and moved to Templeton. Mrs. Fangman is survived by her husband, nine children, Clara having died in infancy, one brother, Henry Uhlenkamp of Hopkington, la., 36 grandchildren. 13 greatchildren and Mrs. Hoelscher. Surviving children are Mrs. Clem Langel of Templeton, Henry of Red Falls, Minn., Frank and Joe of Templeton, Mrs. Ben Lichtenberg (Elizabeth) of Templeton, Mrs. Henry Kalkoff (Katherine) of Clements, Minn., Mrs. Ed Kalkoff (Mary) of Templeton, Mrs. Raymond Woslager ( Margaret ) of Templeton and Rosa at home.
