Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Vetter were held on Saturday, February 23 at the Kramer Lutheran Church at Kramer with Rev. Wm. Pebler officiating. Burial was at the Kramer cemetery. A resident of Nebraska since 1885, Mrs. Vetter was born in Vienna, Austria and came to this country at the age of five years with her parents in the year of 1871. A resident of Nebraska since 1885, Mrs. Vetter was born in Vienna, Austria and came to this country at the age of five years with her parents in the year of 1871. They made their home in Racine, Wisconsin. In 1885 she came to Nebraska. On October 30, 1887 she was united in marriage to Frederick Vetter. Mr. Vetter died suddenly on July 3, 1914 leaving her with ten children, some small, and with the help of the older ones she remained on the farm for a number of years after which she made her home with her children. She died February 19, 1946 at the age of 79 years, seven months, and twenty days. Survivors are three sons, Chris Vetter of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Fred Vetter of Albany, Oregon; and August Vetter of Hallam; seven daughters, Barbara F. Molzer of Hallam; Anna J. Wendelin, Crete; Lizzie Woltje of Greenleaf, Kansas; Marie Cholcher of Enid, Oklahoma; Carolyn Fraas of Everett, Washington; Alvina Jarms of Salem, Oregon; Dorothy Becker of Lincoln. Also thirty-four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, one brother, Joe Wioteshek and one sister, Emelia Repa, both of Racine, Wisconsin. Source: The Crete News, March 7, 1946
