Description	:	The York Daily, June 7, 1915 JOSIAH BARE Jefferson, June 6 – Josiah Bare, 70 years old, died early Saturday morning at the West Side Sanitarium, York, to which place he had been removed the night before for an operation for bowel trouble. Mr. Bare became sick last Wednesday. His condition gradually growing more critical each day it was decided to remove him to the York institution for an operation. Read More	The York Daily, June 7, 1915 JOSIAH BARE Jefferson, June 6 – Josiah Bare, 70 years old, died early Saturday morning at the West Side Sanitarium, York, to which place he had been removed the night before for an operation for bowel trouble. Mr. Bare became sick last Wednesday. His condition gradually growing more critical each day it was decided to remove him to the York institution for an operation. His death occurred, however, before an operation could be performed, on Saturday morning at 6:30 o’clock. His body was prepared for burial and removed to this place by Undertaker George W. Sauter, of Menges Mills. Besides his wife, he is survived by several step-children. The funeral will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:30 o’clock. Following brief services at the house at 9:30 a.m., concluding services will be held in Christ Reformed Church. The Rev. N. W. Sechler, Reformed pastor, of York, will officiate. Interment will be made in the local cemetery.
