Description	:	William Bellomy and Bartlett Bellomy are step siblings. Josiah James, son of Jacob James, was born in Kentucky but was raised in Scioto, OH. He married Olivia Levina James there on May 7, 1847. A few years later they left Ohio for Iowa then moved to Clay, Harrison, MO where they lived for many years. Josiah and family moved to Council Bluffs, IA in 1882. They had been there only about three weeks, when Josiah took sick and died. It is claimed that he enlisted June 1861 as a private.
