Creviston, 71, wife of Omer J. Creviston, Markle, died at 7 a.m. Friday in the Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, where she had been a patient for the last three weeks. She was born May 11, 1896, to John O. and Mary Ann Sheets Redding and married Mr. Creviston on September 7, 1915, in huntington with Rev. Elmer Ward Cole officiating. She was a member of the Markle Church of Christ. Surviving are Mr. Creviston, a daughter, Mrs Harry (Opal) Lund, Rt. 2 Huntington; a son Ralph E. Creviston at home; three grandchildren, Mrs. Donald E. (Janet) Wolf, Rt. 2 Huntington; Mrs. Eldon (Colleen) Rybolt, Fort Wayne, and Connie Jean Lund, Rt. 2 Huntington; four great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Jasper (Edna) Waters, Rt. 1 Markle and a brother, Eldon Redding, Bluffton. Two sons, Paul Eugene and John Joseph are dead. Friends may call in the Funderburg Funeral Home, Markle, until noon Monday when the body will be removed to the Markle Church of Christ where friends may view until the hour of the services at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ivan Odor officiating. Burial will be in the Sparks Cemetery south of Markle. Funeral service for Mrs. Josie A. Creviston were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Markle Church of Christ with Rev. Ivan Odor, pastor, officiating. Doyle and Anna Brown sang with Ronnie Winkler at the organ. Pallbearers were nephews, Kyle, Carl and Oliver Mason, Harold, Gerald and Loren Waters. David Neuenswander, and John Obenour. Members of the Family Bible Class of the church, of which Mrs. Creviston was a member, attended in a body. Burial was in the Sparks Cemetery, south of Markle. The body was in the Funderburg Funeral Home, markle, prior to services.
