This entire community was cast into a shadow of gloom Tuesday afternoon when it was announced that Miss Josie Robbins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robbins, had died at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Chas. Lamphere, in this city. Miss Josie had been ill scarecly a week with a hard cold which terminated into pneumonia and resulted fatally. She had been teaching school for the winter in Lodomillo township and was at home for a short vacation, during which she came down town to have some sewing done and visit her grandmother at the same time. It was not generally known that she was critically ill until just a comparatively short time before her death which occurred Tuesday afternoon, March 12th. The deceased was a prime favorite among her large circle of friends and schoolmates who are deeply pained to hear of her death. The funeral will be held this afternoon at the Congregational church.
