Born in Waterloo, the former Josie Mabel Wile, she was a daughter of the late Lucas and Letitiia (Hanley) Wile. She is survived by a daughter, Helen (Mrs. Victor Stewart), Conquerall Mills; four sons, Wallace, Petite Riviere; Ivan, Conquerall Mills; John, Italy Cross; Duncan, Crousetown; two sisters, Mrs. Jean Leary, Chelsea; Mrs. Lettie Croft, Bridgewater; 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband; a son, George; two sisters and two brothers. The body is at the Wamback Memorial Chapel, Bridgewater, where fuenral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Alex MacLeod officiating. Burial will be in United Church Cemetery, Italy Cross. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Foundation or the Canadian Diabetic Association.
