Description	:	UNION - Josie Crocker Miller, 89, of 605 Brown's Creek Church Road died Aug. 10, 2001, at Wallace Thompson Hospital. A native of Union, she was the widow of Jesse C. Miller and the daughter of the late William Arthur Crocker Sr. and Mattie Jolly Crocker. She was a member of McCutchen Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she had served as a Sunday school teacher of the Primary Department for more than 50 years and was a member of the Hattie McCutchen Circle. She was a retired cashier for Smith's Drug Store after 35 years of service. She was a retired cashier for Smith's Drug Store after 35 years of service. Surviving are two daughters, Mary M. Tucker of Union and Mattie M. Woods of Martines, Ga.; four sisters, Mary C. Creasman, Kate C. Roberts and Margaret C. Morris, all of Union and Mattie Sue Dixon of Blacksburg; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at McCutchen Memorial Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Revs. Reuben Wallace and James Crocker. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. The family is at the home. Memorials may be made to the McCutchen Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1438 Lockhart Highway., Union, S.C., 29379. The S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
