Description	:	Joyce Price, age 86, of Ogden, died May 3, 2013, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Water's Edge Church in Ogden from noon until 2 p.m. at which time the family will be present to greet friends and share refreshments. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, southeast of Ogden, with Pastor Rick Summerhays officiating. Burial will follow the service. Joyce was born in Webster County, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Sadie (Bundy) Maddux. She graduated from Ogden High School. On November 24, 1946, Joyce married Bernard Price at the Bethel Church in rural Boone. For many years, Joyce was employed as a cookie packer at Archway Cookies. She served on the board of the Ogden Library. Joyce enjoyed reading, crocheting, and especially supporting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister Mildred Olson. Joyce is survived by a son Randy Price and wife Linda of Ogden; two daughters Lisa Summerhays and husband Rick of Ogden, and Sheryl Lundquist and husband Dave of Macon, Georgia; a brother Harve Maddux of Des Moines; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren: Chris Lundquist; Jen and Brian Frankum and their children Cole, Taylor, and Nathan; Jason and Amy Price and their children Chelsea and Blake; Darren and Amber Trusler and their children Parker and Addison; and Whitney, Gabe, and Ashton Summerhays.
