Joyce was born on March 14, 1949 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Everette and Eloise (Lunning) Snoozy. She was baptized at Scandia Lutheran Church, Centerville, South Dakota and confirmed at Summit Lutheran Church, Summit, South Dakota and reaffirmed her faith at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in South Shore in 1968. Joyce attended rural school at Morning Star near Centerville, South Dakota and then high school at South Shore where she graduated. After graduation, she attended Stewart's School of Hairstyling in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Joyce married Charles Noeldner on April 18, 1970 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in South Shore. The couple ranched and farmed near South Shore except for one year when they lived in Colorado when her husband was in the Air Force. Joyce worked in home health care for many years and at Midcom for fifteen years. She also worked at Stoneybrook Assisted Living, and at Runnings. Joyce was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in South Shore. She enjoyed going places and spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and working in her flower beds. She is survived by her husband, Charles, of South Shore; one son, Chris, and his wife, Kerri Noeldner, of Watertown, South Dakota; two daughters: Michelle and her husband, Robbie O'Farrell, of Summit, South Dakota and Rebecca and her husband, Derek Rahn, of Parmalee, South Dakota; her mother, Eloise Snoozy, of South Shore, South Dakota; three brothers: Kevin Snoozy of South Shore, South Dakota; Wes and his wife, Marie Snoozy, of Twin Brooks, South Dakota and Keith and his wife, Jill Snoozy, of El Campo, Texas and five grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her father.
