Juanita Murphy Wooten, 63, of 1776 Philadelphia Road, died Monday, Oct. 17, in a Little Rock hospital. She was born Feb 5, 1931, in Urbana, the daughter of James Edward "Jim" and Betty Jerry Murphy. A livelong resident of Union County, she had worked as a nurse at Union Medical Center and Hudson Nursing Home in El Dorado. She was a member of Green Grove Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her husband, Buriel Wooten of El Dorado; three daughters, Nelda Williams of Crossett, Diane Johnson and Kathy Sneed, both of El Dorado; four brothers, Archie Murphy of Lees Summit, Mo., James Murphy of El Dorado, Jerry Murphy of Fresno, Calif., and Wayne Murphy of Selma, Calif.;two sisters, Jearlene Waters and Wilda Faye Jerry, both of El Dorado; and three grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Green Grove Assembly of God Church with Jimmy Adams officiating. Burial will be in Green Grove Cemetery under the direction of Rumph-Owers Funeral Home. The family will be at 1776 Philadelphia Road. Memorials may be made to Green Grove Assembly of God Building Fund, 2085 Philadelphia Road, El Dorado. Mrs. Wooten will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Today
