Description	:	Juanita Biedinger age 97 passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Jenkins Care Center in Watertown. She was born to William and Mazie H. (Lester) Langwill on October 30, 1911. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1929 and Watertown Business School in 1931. During and after graduation she traveled to Chicago and New York as a buyer for Schaller's Department Store which later became Herberger's in 1943. Read More	Juanita Biedinger age 97 passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Jenkins Care Center in Watertown. She was born to William and Mazie H. (Lester) Langwill on October 30, 1911. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1929 and Watertown Business School in 1931. During and after graduation she traveled to Chicago and New York as a buyer for Schaller's Department Store which later became Herberger's in 1943. She met her husband Frank when he rented a room in her mother's home. They were married on April 28, 1938. They moved to Minneapolis and resided there until moving back to Watertown in 1946 with their young son Brooke. Frank and Juanita started Biedinger Scale Company and continued to run the family business until 1976 when Frank passed away. In that same year she started her Avon business and continued selling until the age of 95 when she decided it was time to park her little red Honda in the garage and retire. During her career as an Avon representative she received numerous awards and recognition as a member of the President's Club. Mom enjoyed gardening, cooking, being a second mom to numerous Lake Area Tech students who rented her lake cottage, watching the Twins, contributing to her history club and playing her piano. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and numerous friends, and her constant and loving companion, Sammy, her cat. Juanita is preceded in death by her husband Frank, her sister June Langwill Evenson and her infant grand children Patricia, Lisa and Jason Spooner. She is survived by her son Brooke and his wife Judy of Fredric, WI, Her daughters Pam and her husband Dean Spooner of Watertown, SD, Marcia and her husband Rod Paclik of Robbinsdale, MN, and her daughter Sheila Biedinger of Piedmont, SD. Also surviving are her grand children Jody Anderson and her sons Zach and Jacob, Shane Spooner and his wife Shannon and their children Cheyenne and Lucas, Annette Spooner, Jennie Spooner and her children Shaylea and Sky Marie, Justin Spooner, Frank and Jill Biedinger and their children Stevi Nicole and Austin of Brooklyn Center, MN, and Bart and Liz Biedinger and their children Brandon and Tristan of Champlin, MN. She is also survived by her nieces Julie Locke and her husband Jay Dee and daughter Michelle of Sioux Falls, Carol Moes and her husband Tim and sons Mitchell and Mathew of Watertown, and Cheryl Benjamin and husband Jeff and their married children Jennifer and Ed of Seatte, WA. Graveside services will be held October 3rd. Internment at Mount Hope Cemetery.
