Juanita Schoepf was born to William and Ruby (Simmons) Schoepf on August 5, 1930, in Spencer, SD. She graduated Class of 1948 from Spencer High School and married the love of her life, Russell Ediger on May 6, 1949. Juanita Schoepf was born to William and Ruby (Simmons) Schoepf on August 5, 1930, in Spencer, SD. She graduated Class of 1948 from Spencer High School and married the love of her life, Russell Ediger on May 6, 1949. As a self-taught pianist, Juanita played beautifully for her family, church, and community. Juanita not only graced others with love and music, but with the most delicious recipes as well-especially her chocolate sheet cake. Those left to share beloved memories of Juanita are her children, Cary (Lorrie) Ediger of Sioux Falls, Jim (Paula) Ediger of Grand Forks, ND, Lisa (Pat Mommaerts) Lutz of Black Earth, WI, Laura (Linda Lewis) Ediger of Bethesda, MD, Bob (Tracey) Ediger of Sioux Falls, and Patricia Ediger; her sister and dear friend, Cynthia (Lawrence) Roster of Spencer, SD; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Russell; infant son, Anthony; parents, William and Ruby; and her siblings, Merle, Mervin, Elzie, Jack, Ed, Hazel, Jeanette, Jeanne, and Georgia.
