Description	:	Myron Bradley Hendrick, born March 17, 1837, was a son of Gideon Abbott and Mary Betsy (Kniffin) Hendrick. Myron and his brothers came to Michigan to build the docks on Lake Superior at Hughton. On March 13, 1864 Myron was united in marriage to Amelia Gibson in Palo, Ionia Co., MI and to this union were born five children: Maude Hendrick, Thode Hendrick, Theo Hendrick, Max Hendrick and Burt Hendrick. Myron became involved in politics and was elected county judge in 1867 so moved to Waukon and built Idleoaks Estate where they lived until their deaths.
