Description	:	Judith Ann "Judy" Hannon was the first of four daughters born to Herman L. and Sophie C. (Thomsen) Petersen. Judy attended country school near Cordova as a child and graduated from high school at Exeter in 1957. She also attended Grandview College in Des Moines, Iowa. She married Roger Hannon December 10, 1960 and the couple was blessed with three daughters: Brenda, Barbara and Bridget. Judy attended country school near Cordova as a child and graduated from high school at Exeter in 1957. She also attended Grandview College in Des Moines, Iowa. She married Roger Hannon December 10, 1960 and the couple was blessed with three daughters: Brenda, Barbara and Bridget. During her lifetime, Judy worked at Friend Hospital, Exeter Care Center, and Fairmont Nursing Home. In 1972, she began a long career with the Centennial Public School system where she worked as a secretary, bus driver, and paraeducator. She was also a co-owner of Hannon Service Station with her husband. The following is a quote from her obituary that was printed in the York News-Times on March 4, 2011: "Judy was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and WELCA in Cordova. She was organized, practical and passed along her wonderful work ethic to her children. In the summer Judy worked for numerous seed corn companies, roguing and detasseling corn. Judy was a wonderful homemaker, a great cook (especially Danish coffee cake and aebelskiver), loved to sew for her family and enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles in her spare time. She enjoyed collecting memory items form the children who rode her buses, and also various "beaver" items. Family came first and she always took car of others before herself."
