Description	:	Judy Sagaser, 59, Bismarck, died on Feb. 2, 2009, surrounded by her family at St. Alexius Medical Center after winning a short battle with cancer. Judy was born Nov. 19, 1949, in Fargo to Wayne and Marlys (Trangsrud) Muilenburg. Very involved in 4-H growing up, she won many awards with her horse, Chico. Judy was born Nov. 19, 1949, in Fargo to Wayne and Marlys (Trangsrud) Muilenburg. Very involved in 4-H growing up, she won many awards with her horse, Chico. Judy graduated from Enderlin High School in 1967 and in 1971 from NDSU with a degree in physical education and a minor in German. While in college she met Tom Sagaser. He was the love of her life and they were married on Feb. 20, 1971, over spring break of their senior year in Lisbon. Following their marriage, they lived out of state where she taught school. Both Judy and Tom were happy to return to North Dakota where they have settled and raised their family. Judy’s strong Christian faith was evident in her lifestyle. Judy loved the Lord and instilled that love in her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a kind, loving, generous and intelligent person. A practical woman, Judy was known to be a power shopper. Finding that special deal was fun, but the greatest joy was in giving to others. Judy had a talent and great appreciation for music, which she found comfort in. A love for nature with a green thumb resulted in beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. Her talent extended into sewing and quilting. In all, Judy dedicated her life to her family, proud to be a stay at-home mom. Her children regard her as a special mom, but more importantly, their best friend. Her grandchildren were a source of pride and joy. These are but a few of the cherished memories her family will fondly and sadly miss. Judy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 37 years, Tom; their five children, Heather, Matthew, Sarah, Melisa and Hannah; ten grandchildren; her parents: Wayne and Marlys Muilenburg; one sister, Mavis Ward, one brother, Harley; and many nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her grandparents; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Margaret Sagaser; two brothers-in-law, John and Joseph Sagaser; and one niece, Chantel Sagaser.
