Description	:	Judy K. Geyer, 71, of Shipshewana, left this earth peacefully in her home to be with God, family and friends on Monday, December 6. She was born on May 31, 1950, in Elkhart, to George and Donna (Replogle) Zigler. On August 24, 1985, at Stone Lake, she married James Geyer, he died May 8, 2017. Surviving are son, Jim (Joyce) Geyer II of Constantine, MI; three daughters, Dalis (Joseph) Werner of Westville, Jessica Geyer of Holt, MI, Melissa Geyer of Charlotte, MI; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Betty Geyer of Goshen; sister, Nancy Swinehart of Bristol; niece, Pam... Surviving are son, Jim (Joyce) Geyer II of Constantine, MI; three daughters, Dalis (Joseph) Werner of Westville, Jessica Geyer of Holt, MI, Melissa Geyer of Charlotte, MI; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Betty Geyer of Goshen; sister, Nancy Swinehart of Bristol; niece, Pam Smeltzer; great nephews, Ray and DJ Smeltzer. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; father-in-law, Richard Geyer; grandson, James Geyer III, granddaughter, Megan Carpenter; great-grandson, Isaac Shuman; brother-in-law, Ronald Swinehart. Judy was a member of the last graduating class of Middlebury High School in 1969. She then went to work for the RV industry making drapes. She had to retire early due to health problems. Judy enjoyed being with her family and friends and loved her dog, Tulip. She and Jim enjoyed clowning for 20 years. Visitation will be from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm on Monday, December 13 followed by a 1:00 pm funeral service at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury. Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury. Memorials may be given to the Diabetic Association.
