Description	:	Judy Schaak, 73, of Billings, passed away at the St. Vincent Hospital, following a short illness. Judy was born March 24, 1932, in Hamburg, Iowa, to Herbert and Mary Jewel Lefler. When she was a child, following her father's death, her family moved to Billings. She married Bill Schaak on Aug. 30, 1949. They ranched south of Billings for 51 years. They had four children: Lori (Frank) Neiss, Larry Schaak, Gary Schaak and Coni Schuppe; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her husband, Bill Schaak; and her sister, Mary Alice McAfee; along with several nieces and nephews. She volunteered for many years at St. Vincent's surgery waiting room on Friday mornings. She was a fantastic cook, awesome knitter, a superb seamstress and gardener. She was the world's best mom, wife, sister and grandmother. She took great care of all who loved her. She will live in our hearts and memories forever. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 3, at Smith West Chapel, 304 34th St. West. Cremation has taken place.
