Gregg, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Gregg had been under the care of Interim Hospice and was blessed with amazing care. Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late James “Jim” and Leila Foy Redden. Prior to her retirement from Estes Textiles, Mrs. Gregg was employed as a card tender. She was a member of City View First Baptist Church. Mrs. Gregg enjoyed listening to music, shopping at yard sales and thrift stores, and was always searching for a bargain. Everything she ever did, she did for her family. Surviving are daughter, Rhonda Whitlock (Randy) of Easley; grandchildren, April Holman (Jonas) of Greenville, Stephanie Greer (Randy) of Greenville, Julie Blakley of Greenville, and Kristian Taylor (Ed) of Easley; great-grandchildren, Abigail, James and Joshua Greer, Noah Taylor, and Jacob and Julian Holman; her beloved nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Maggie. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gregg was preceded in death by daughter, Vickie Craig Pearce (Steven); two brothers, Jason and Sam Redden; three sisters, Martha Jolly, Louise Bragg, and Eleanor Covil; and son-in-law, Johnny Craig, Jr. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Graceland East Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 16 Hyland Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
