Doyle, died at her home in this city on Wednesday evening last, after a brief illness, aged 59 years, 7 months and 27 days. Deceased had for some time been a sufferer of stomach trouble but just prior to the severe illness which caused her demise, she was rather improved from this malady and her death came as a sudden shock and great surprise to the members of the family. She took severely ill on Monday about noon, and her death is attributed directly to heart failure superinduced by enlargement of the liver. She was born in Indiana and moved with her parents to Wisconsin and later to Missouri and Kansas, from which latter state she moved with her husband to Colorado, which has been her home since the late 70's, settling in this county in 1879. She bore a wide acquaintanceship thru out the county and her departure will be generally mourned. Besides the husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jos. St. George at Silver Cliff, and two sons, Grant Turner of Ridgeway, Colorado., and Philip Doyle of this city; also a sister, Mrs. N. F. Frazier of El Dorado, Kansas. The funeral obsequies will be held at the Presbyterian church tomorrow (Saturday) forenoon at 10 o'clock, Rev. J. G. Blake of Canon City, officiating, and the remains will be laid to rest in the Silver Cliff cemetery beside the grave of her mother, whose death occurred about eighteen months before.
