Description	:	Death of Mrs. Julia Paup The death of this lady occured at her home in Harlan last Thursday. Funeral services were held Sunday Afternoon, conducted by Rev. Edwin C. McDade. Interment was in the city cemetery. Miss Julia Ann McAninch was born in Armstrong County, Penn., April 3, 1828. She joined the Methodist church at the age of seventeen, thus holding a relationship with the church extending over seventy years. At the age of twentyshe was married to James Brumbaugh. Interment was in the city cemetery. Miss Julia Ann McAninch was born in Armstrong County, Penn., April 3, 1828. She joined the Methodist church at the age of seventeen, thus holding a relationship with the church extending over seventy years. At the age of twentyshe was married to James Brumbaugh. Two sons were born, William and James, the later deceased. Mr. Brumbaugh died when the younger son was a year old. Soon after, she came to Iowa, and made a home at Lost Nation. In 1868 she was united to George Paup, whose first wife died twelve years previous. Four sons were born to Mr. Paup by his first marriage, all of whom are living. In 1881, the family came to Harlan. Mr Paup's death occured in March 1905. The sons of the first marriage are: George C., H. H., W.L. and Jos. H. Two surviving sisters of Mrs. Paup were present, Mrs. C.F.
