Description	:	Julia was the daughter of Samuel Miller and Elizabeth Tripp. She married William McKeever in 1851. Julia was left with five little children after Williams death. She married again on October 12, 1865, in Polk County, Iowa, to William Harmon. They were the parents of six children: Leander T., Alamander N., John A., Middleton Jethia, William Sherman, and Julia Ann. Mr. Harmon died in 1887. She passed away March 30, 1901, at Adel and was brought back to McKeever Cemetery to be laid to rest by her first husband, William Henry McKeever. April 4, 1901 - Colfax Tribune - Julia Ann Miller was born in Athens County, Ohio, Jan. 15, 1833. She moved to Indiana, thence to Iowa in 1851, where she has since made her home. She has been married three times. Her first husband, William McKeever, died in 1863. In 1865 she was again united in Mariage to William Harmon and in 1887 he was taken from her. In 1893 she was married to Henry McKinney who survives her. Mother McKinney was the mother of fourteen children, eight by her first husband and six by her second. At her home in Adel, Iowa on the morning of March 30, after an illness of several weeks duration, and a pilgrimage of 68 years, 2 months, and 15 days upon earth, she was not, for the Lord had taken her. The remains were brought to Mingo, March 30, and the funeral services held at the M.E. Church, Monday, April 1, 1901, conducted by the pastor, Rev. R.L. Barthalow, and were laid in the McKeever Cemetery. She leaves a husband, eight children, one sister, two brothers, and a host of friends in Adel, Iowa, her late home, and elsewhere to mourn her loss, but what is their loss is her gain. Mother McKinney has been a member of the Methodist Church the greater part of her life. Her pastor, Rev. H.H. Barton gives her a tribute of great praise for her faithfulness to her christian duties. She told her loved ones that she was ready to go and was just waiting the Lord's time to take her.
