Read More	Wood River Paper Friday, October20, 1911 page 1 Death of Mrs. Henry Clanton The community and especially the vicinity of Cameron was filled with profound sorrow at the death of Mrs. Henry Clanton at her home in Cameron Township last Sunday, after an illness of less then two weeks. Aged 29 years, 6 months and 29 days. Mrs. Clanton had been in poor health for some time past and when a little babe came to her a couple of weeks ago she was sickened and despite every effort of friends and loved ones she passed to her final rest. Funeral Services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Christian Church of Cameron. Conducted by Rev. Doward of Grand Island in the presence of a large gathering of sorrowing friends and relatives. Interment took place in the Cameron Cemetery. Wm Parks, August Miller, H. Wickersham and Samuel McClurkin acting as pallbearers. Julia Anna Stange Clanton was born in Peoria, Ill Feb 16, 1881 and came with her parents to Hall County locating near Cairo. She was untied in marriage to Henry Clanton Nov 27, 1901 and to his union children were born, the oldest eight years and the youngest eleven days, who together with her husband survive to morn the tender care that only a loving mother can give. The deceased patents as also two brothers and five sisters survive her. The deceased was an honored member of the Royal Neighbors who attended in a body and whose beautiful rites were observed at the grave. While not a member of any church, Mrs Clanton was a firm believer in the Savior and died in the faith of her Lord. She was a good wife and mother, a kind neighbor and friend and was greatly loved by all who knew her. The tender sympathy of the community goes out to the heart broken husband and the brood of little ones in their great affliction.
