Holyoke Enterprise, Holyoke, Colorado, April 24, 1941 SERVICES ARE HELD FOR AGED RESIDENT Service For Mrs. Julia Taylor Conducted At Funeral Home Final rites for Mrs. Julia Taylor, aged Holyoke resident who died early Thursday morning at the Holyoke hospital, were conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Colver Brothers Funeral Home. Clare J. Hayes, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated. Burial was made in the Holyoke cemetery. Pallbearers were Max Guernsey of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Russell Cartwright of Fort Collins, Lee Warren Kelly, Earl Bledsoe, R. Moss Clark and H.J. Sandstead. Out-of-town relatives attending the funeral were Fred Moeder and daughter, Jessie, of Hannibal, Missouri, Mrs. Arnold Coleman and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Langford of Sterling, Russell Cartwright and Miss Dola Guernsey of Fort Collins, and Max Guernsey of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Julia E. Gardner, daughter of Frank and Mary Gardner, was born in Lawrenceville, New York, June 17, 1857. She died at the Holyoke hospital early Thursday morning after suffering a stroke several hours previously at her home. She was 83 years and 10 months old at the time of her death. She was married to Robert J. Taylor April 3, 1872 at Hamlet, Iowa. The deceased became a member of the Methodist church during her early life. Survivors are four sons, Charles R. of Sedgwick, Frank A. of Cresco, Iowa, John L. of New Cambria, Missouri, and Robert E. of Flint, Michigan; three daughters, Mrs. Julia E. Mead of Cozad, Nebraska, Mrs. Hattie B. Hageman of Holyoke, and Mrs. Mabel M. Guernsey of Haigler, Nebraska; 35 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. CARD OF THANKS We wish to extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our friends and neighbors for the acts of kindness and sympathy extended us at the time of the sudden death of our mother and grandmother, Mrs. Julia E.
