Description	:	The many friends of Miss Julia Hamilton were very much grieved to hear of her death which occured last Thursday night. She had been afflicted from early childhood with spinal affection and was a constant sufferer but was always cheerful no matter how much she sufferer and bore it all without complaint. She seemed in her usual health except a severe headache with which she had suffered for about two weeks. The doctor was called Thursday but did not seem to think her condition serious. That evening she said she felt much better, only so uncomfortable and in just a short time she expired. Julia E. Hamilton was born in Boone County, Nebraska, July 9, 1884, and died February 24, 1910, being 25 years, 7 months and 15 days old at the time of her death. She was a bright, affectionate girl and she numbered her friends by her acquaintances, for to know her was to love her. She was very ambitious and would have made a shinning mark in the world had she not been afflicted and unable to be around as much as she would have liked. Funeral services were held at the house at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. J. Todd, pastor of the M. E. church at Spirit Lake. His sermon was a very comforting one. The floral offerings were many and very beautiful and were evidence of the esteem in which she was held in this community. A large number of friends followed the remains to their last resting place in Lakeview Cemetery at Spirit Lake. She leaves to mourn her loss a father, mother, two sisters and four brothers, besides a host of friends. The entire community unites in extending their sincere sympathy to the bereaved ones. The Milford Mail, March 3, 1910 ------------- DIED. HAMILTON - In Lakeville township, February 25th, Miss Julia E. Hamilton, aged twenty-five years, seven months and eighteen days, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Hamilton. The deceases had been seriously crippled for fifteen years and compelled to ues crutched. Death came with little warning from heart failure. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. J. Todd.
