Read More	JULIA ELIZABETH 'JUDY' WILKINS KINGMAN - Tuesday - May 20, 1997 Redmond - Julia Elizabeth "Judy" Wilkins Kingman, 92, a longtime resident of Chelan, died Sunday, May 18, 1997, at Cascade Plaza in Redmond. She was born May 8, 1905, at Syracuse, Neb., the daughter of Melvin and Edna Belle Wilkins. Following her education, she taught school for a time. She met her future husband, W. Kenneth Kingman, in 1930, when she came to Chelan with a touring group to help establish community theater here. They were married on Dec. 29, 1930, in Kansas City, Mo., at the home of her aunt. Mrs. Kingman was a member of Silver Star Chapter 93, O.E.S. and was also active in the Ladies' Music Club. For many years, she played bridge in several clubs. She was very artistic and an accomplished pianist, accompanying many choral groups. She was the heart of many a Christmas Eve carol singing for the family. She loved her family and has said so often lately what a wonderful life she had had. She never failed to appreciate the beauty of nature around her. Her family will miss her and will always treasure their memories of her. Mr. Kingman preceded her in death in 1991. Survivors include her son, William Kenneth Kingman, of Hastings, Mich.; a daughter, Karen Kingman Keever, of Bellevue; a sister, Irma Wilkins Bates, of Fresno, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
