She continued to work until 2000, when her health forced her to retire.Judy belonged to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, The Legion of Mary, and her rosary group. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, baking, canning and spending time with her family.Survivors include daughter Cathleen (Doug) Lamberty of North Platte; sons Roger (Jan) Dillon of Omaha and Mike (Jodi) Dillon of Lincoln; step-daughter Gloria (Don) Piper of North Platte; step-son Larry (Margaret) Dillon of Grand Island; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lawrence; sisters Helen Staneic, Fritz Olafson, Dot Mills and Audrey Krumland; and brothers Edward, John and Paul Mecek.Mass of the Christian Burial was Oct. 28 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
