Read More	Julia Johanna Petrich Lindemann This article was Front Page News in the ENDERLIN INDEPENDENT, of 20 Nov 1913.] Death of Mrs. Julia Lindemann End Came Last Tuesday at Ripe Old Age of Nearly Eighty-Six After a long and eventful life death claimed Mrs. Julia Lindemann last Tuesday, November 18, at the age of 85 years and 11 months. Death was due to ailments of old age. She had made her home for a number of years at the home of her son Robert, which is the farm where she and her husband, with the family first settled when coming to this country, and it was here that she died. Her husband, Ferdinand Lindemann, died in 1902. They came from Germany in 1882, settling north of here in Cass county and there both Mr. and Mrs. Lindemann lived out their lives and died on the old homestead which they had taken as wild land and made into a home. Deceased leaves to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother six sons and two daughters, all grown to man and womanhood. Besides these there are 62 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. The sons are Carl, William, Fred, Robert and Paul, all of whom are located in this immediate vicinity and among our most highly respected citizens, and one in the old country. The daughters are Mrs. Herman Boehm, who lives a few miles north of town and one daughter in the old country. There is also one brother, Theodore Petrich of this city and two sisters in the old country. These have the sincere sympathy of many friends both in the city and the surrounding country. Deceased was a good Christian woman loved and respected by all. The funeral is being held as we go to press, in the German Lutheran church in Pontiac , Rev. H.
