Description	:	From the March 21, 1919 Skidmore News, page 1: "Julia Maria Elizabeth Whitehead was born January 13, 1855 in Yadkin county, North Carolina. When she was about fifteen years of age the family moved to Hancock county, Indiana, where, on July 3, 1873 she was united in marriage to Alfred B. Kingery. Leaving there in 1877 they made their home in Peoria county, Illinois, until 1883 when they moved to Nodaway county, Missouri, where their home has been, but for a brief period, ever since. Read More	From the March 21, 1919 Skidmore News, page 1: "Julia Maria Elizabeth Whitehead was born January 13, 1855 in Yadkin county, North Carolina. When she was about fifteen years of age the family moved to Hancock county, Indiana, where, on July 3, 1873 she was united in marriage to Alfred B. Kingery. Leaving there in 1877 they made their home in Peoria county, Illinois, until 1883 when they moved to Nodaway county, Missouri, where their home has been, but for a brief period, ever since. To them were born three daughters: Mrs. Cora Panuska of Omaha, Nebr., Mrs. Florence Painter of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Mrs. Fern Chester of Chicago, Illinois. When twenty-seven years of age, Mrs. Kingery united with the Methodist Episcopal church and on coming to Skidmore she and her husband placed their membership with the M. E. church at Skidmore. Mrs. Kingery has been in failing health for four years or more and for the last year rapidly grew worse until the end came very quietly Thursday morning, March 13th, at ten o'clock, aged 64 years 2 months. She leaves beside the husband and three daughters, two sisters, Mrs. Calvin Revis of Burlington Junction and Mrs. Wm. Renegar of Princeville, Illinois, also two grand daughters and two great grand daughters. The funeral service for her was held in the M. E. church, Sunday afternoon at 2:30, in charge of Revs. D. F. Harrison and W. H. Welton after which the body was laid away in the Masonic cemetery."
