Description	:	Julia Dorscher, 105, Bismarck, died December 11, 2013 in a Bismarck care center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Church of St. Mary, Bismarck, with Msgr. Gene Lindemann officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5 -8 p.m. at Bismarck Funeral Home with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Julia was born on November 27, 1908 to Adam and Amelia (Ternes) Paul in Linton, ND. She was raised and educated in the Linton area. She married Joseph Dorscher on Nov. 10, 1930 in Linton. They had 56 years together. Julia worked in housekeeping at St. Alexius Hospital. Her hobbies included, crocheting, baking and cooking. She loved being with her grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of the Altar Society. She is survived by her son Edward Dorscher, Portland, OR; daughter-in-law Vianna Dorscher, Bismarck, 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Cecelia Paul, Bismarck and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her parents, sons Ben, Ray and Joe Jr., daughter Darlene, six brothers, and 2 sisters. She was the last living of the Paul family. The family would like to thank Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center for the wonderful care Julia received while living there, especially the North East Staff. Thank You.
