Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Finck, 79, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 02, 1965, from the Hope Congregational Church there. The Reverend Edwin Neubauer officiated. Pallbearers were Gust and Robert Leischner, Albert Grosz, Christ Rath, August Martell, and Edward J. Hintz. Interment was made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Finck was born April 13, 1885, in South Russia, the daughter of Christian and Anna Finck Peltz. She came to rural Glen Ullin with her parents in early childhood. They moved into Elgin in 1943 and since 1958, Mrs. Finck has been living at the Good Samaritan Home for the Aged here. Survivors include five sons, Albert, Bismarck; Erwin, Burt; Ruben, Elgin; Raphel, Holland, Michigan; and Glen, Mandan; six daughters, Mrs. Ischmel (Elsie) Mai, Billings, Montana; Mrs. Esther Kohl, Elgin; Mrs. Tony (Agnes) Severalla, Mandan; Mrs. Casey (Gladys) Volk, Zeeland, Michigan; Mrs. Adam (Nelda) Bullinger, Mott; and Mrs. Elmer (Luetta) Lang, Spokane, Washington; 35 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Louis Kirschman, Scotts Bluff, Nebraska; and Mrs. Lydia Witt, Bellingham, Washington. She was preceded in death by three children.
