Description	:	Julius H. Winkelman, 63, residing at 2722 Seventh street, passed away at 1:25 p. m. yesterday afternoon at his home. He had been in failing health for the last two years, and suffered a stroke of apoplexy two weeks ago, and another one Tuesday morning. He has been bedfast for the last three weeks. He had been in failing health for the last two years, and suffered a stroke of apoplexy two weeks ago, and another one Tuesday morning. He has been bedfast for the last three weeks. He was born on Feb. 20, 1871 in Germany, and came to this country with his parents when but a baby. The family located in Waterloo, Wis., where he grew to manhood. They then noved to Columbus, and here on Aug. 7, 1893 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Emily Splies. Por a number of years he was employed by the Abts Wholesale company, and for 18 years was employed at the round house of the Union Pacific. For the last 10 vears he had not been steadily employed. He was a member of the Sons of Herman and the Woodmen of the World. Mrs. Winkelman !assed away on June 10, 1929. He is survived by one son, Herman Winkelman. of Columbus; one daughter, Mrs. Ernest Oppliger, of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and two brothers, William Winkelman, of Rising City, and John Winkelman, of Powell, Wyo. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the family home, with Rev. J. H. Steger, pastor of the Evangelical Protestant church, officiating, and burial will be made in the Columbus cemetery. The body is at the Gass Funeral home.
