Description	:	The funeral for Julius J.Reinke was Monday, at 2 p.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church,Byron. He died Saturday at Hebron at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 21 days. He was born July 4, 1912, at the home of his parents, F. Henry and Minna Heider Reinke near Byron. July 14,1912, he was baptized by Pastor F. Schardt at St. Peter Lutheran Church near Byron. He was born July 4, 1912, at the home of his parents, F. Henry and Minna Heider Reinke near Byron. July 14,1912, he was baptized by Pastor F. Schardt at St. Peter Lutheran Church near Byron. He was confirmed Sept. 11, 1927, by Pastor C. Seybold. He lived his early life on the family farm northeast of Byron and attended rural school in District 75 through the eighth grade. As a young man he worked for a number of farmers in this area as well as near Kearney and in Illinois and Idaho. In the summer of 1939 he returned to this area to farm northeast of Byron, where he lived for 46 years. Sept. 28,1941, he was married to Opal Harms at Zion Lutheran Church, southwest of Deshler. Three sons, Glenn, Eugene and Mark, and three daughters, Joyce, Beverly and Janice, blessed this union. He was active in his church and the community, sang in the church choirs most of his life, served on the church council and was a Sunday school teacher of the high school class for a number of years. Reinke served a number of terms on the school board of rural District 96 and also on the board of Byron Rural High School. He is survived by his wife, Opal; three sons, Glenn and Eugene of Omaha and Mark, Bellvue, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Dennis Schmidt (Joyce) of Deshler, Mrs. Roger Mathiesen (Beverly) of Kearney and Mrs. Rick Parpart (Janice), Muskogee, Okla.; five grandsons, Andrew and Jason Schmidt, Benjamin Reinke and Kyle and Branden Parpert; five granddaughters, Deborah, Rebecca, Megan, Rebecca Sue and Hali Reinke; brothers, John, William and Martin of Hebron, Arthur, Elmer and Werner of Davenport, Ludwig and Richard of Deshler and Edward, Mesa, Ariz., and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Alvina Meyer. Pastor Roger Lenander officiated at the services and interment was in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Byron.
