Description	:	June B. Price, 89, long-time Skagit Valley resident, died Thursday, November 19, 2009 at San Juan Rehab and Care Center in Anacortes. Born August 7, 1920 at Creston, North Carolina, she was a daughter of late Joel K. & Pearl M. Mahala. She had lived in the Valley since the early 1940's. On October 2, 1948, she was united in marriage to Claymon A. Price in Burlington. Survivors include her sons: Claymon A. On October 2, 1948, she was united in marriage to Claymon A. Price in Burlington. Survivors include her sons: Claymon A. (Colleen) Price, Jr., of La Conner, Bruce Price, of Anacortes, and Dennis Price, of Salt Lake City; her daughters: Della (Richard) Peter, of Sedro-Woolley, Julie (Jim) Price-Larson, of Alger, and Pearl (Rusty) Anderson, of Alger; three sisters: Willie Osborne, of Elk Mills, MD, Violet Van Sickle, of Ontario, OR, and Gaye (Dean) Blouin, of Coupeville; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Claymon Price, Sr.; her daughter, Stella Pressley; her son, Blain D. Mahala; three brothers, Estol "Luke", Joel "Kay" and Eston Mahala. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Hulbush Funeral Home, Burlington. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at the Bow Cemetery. A time of celebration will be held at the Alger Community Center following the graveside service. Arrangements are under the direction of Hulbush Funeral Home, Burlington. June's family would like to thank the San Juan Rehab and Care Center for their kind and understanding care and attention. They would also like to give special thanks to Katresha Price for the nights and days she spent with her grandmother to ensure that she was never alone.
