She is survived by her five children: Debbie Cohn and husband Steve of Littleton, CO; Debbi Hartley and husband Craig of Nebr. City, NE; Bobbi Teten and fiance Jody Hermann of Nebr. City; Lewis "Buck" Martin of Edgemont, SD and Eric "Rocky" Martin and wife Melissa of Lincoln, NE; 13 grandchildren: Aaron Cohn, Drew and Paige Hartley, Jordan and Dalton Teten, Dani Simrell, April Stukenholtz, Kayla, Baron, Aaron, Kolton, Ambryia and Caleb Martin; two great-grandchildren: Adison and Zoey Stukenholtz; brothers: Charles "Sonny" Bates and wife Becky of Nebr. City, Lynn Ericson and wife Jan of Lincoln, NE; sister Julie Henderson of Sidney, IA; sister-in-law Sharon Bates of Nebr. City; other family and many friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant grandson Brandon Lewis Martin and brother Marshall "Bud" Bates. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning; July 9, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City with Fr. Michael McCabe officiating. Burial will be in the Wyuka Cemetery at Nebr. City. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Gude Mortuary in Nebr. City. Memorials may be given to the Nebraska City Fire Dept. Museum or Hearts United for Animals.
