Description	:	Jurgen Lutterman Died Thursday Jurgen Lutterman, a lifetime resident of Shiloh township, died at his home in Wellsburg about seven o'clock Thursday morning. Death was due to cancer. Read More	Jurgen Lutterman Died Thursday Jurgen Lutterman, a lifetime resident of Shiloh township, died at his home in Wellsburg about seven o'clock Thursday morning. Death was due to cancer. Funeral services were held at the home at one o'clock Monday and later at the Reformed church at Wellsburg. Rev. Edward Jurgens was the officiating pastor. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church. There was a very large attendance at the church service. Pallbearers were Alvin Lutterman, Lawrence Lutterman, Herman Hook, Gerald Hook, George and Jerry Lutterman. Came From a Large Family Mr. Lutterman was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jurgen Lutterman. He came from a family of ten children, five of whom survive. The Luttermans were among the early families coming to Grundy county. The father and mother came from Germany to Shiloh township. The large family were born and raised on a Shiloh township farm. Jurgen was born Jan. 21, 1874. He grew up on the farm and attended rural school in Shiloh township. On Oct. 17, 1901, he and Louise Getting were married. They began housekeeping on a Shiloh township farm and continued to live there until they moved to Wellsburg six years ago. Mr. Lutterman was a good farmer, a good neighbor and a man held in high regard by all who knew him. He and his wife were long time members and regular attendants at the Wellsburg Reformed church. Surviving are the wife, one son, LeRoy, and one daughter, Mrs. Marvin Tack. There are four grandchildren. Other surviving relatives are two brothers and three sisters. The brothers are Henry, Wellsburg, and Dr. Eldridge Lutterman, Antioch, Ill. The surviving sisters are Mrs. Maggie Hook, Wellsburg; Mrs. Tena Welch, Pharr, Texas; and Mrs. Tillie Schwager, Blue Earth, Minn. The four brothers who preceded him in death were Harm, John, Jake and Albert. One sister died several years ago. One of the members of the large family died in infancy. Those who came from a distance for the funeral were: Sioux Falls, S.D., Mrs. Henry Schoon, Fred Getting; Clara City, Minn., Mrs. John Ash; Reading, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Jake Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Johnson and Viola, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Burket, Alvin Johnson; Worthington, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. George Getting; Rock Rapids, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Jans Dykhouse; Blue Earth, Minn., Mrs. Tillie Schwager; Antioch, Ill., Dr. Eldridge Lutterman; Newton, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Damman, Marshalltown, Mr. and Mrs. Will Getting; Portage, Wis., Mrs. Louis Ulferts; Ft.
