She was playing on the farm at Cranford Alberta in her father's car found a match lit one which ingined her nylon peiticoat which resulted in extensive burn to her hip & abdomen . She suffered 3 degree burns to 75 % of her body . She died of shock the next day at the hospital in Taber Alberta .
